This book was written, edited and designed by David Whiteman, former owner and editor of the Carp Valley Press, in collaboration with Erskine Rivington, the newspapers one-time Heritage Page editor.

The book is 109 pages in length and is in 8.5 x 11 inch format. The almost 200 black-and-white photographs which have been digitally enhanced such that the details are crisp and easy to see. Almost all of the people in the photographs have been identified by at least one member of the community, generally a relative.

Erskine's photographs are renowned for recording the normal life around Huntley Township. As such this book would of use to you in finding photos of lost relatives, in giving you insight into the life in Carp and surroundings over the past 75 years, and would look good on your coffee table
